In “Death on the Diamond,” Pop Clark faces losing his baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals, unless they win the pennant to settle his debts. He brings in ace player Larry Kelly to boost their chances, but it’s not just rival teams they must contend with—mobsters also aim to sabotage their victory, and a shadowy killer begins taking out star players as the pennant race comes to a head.

As the season intensifies, Larry is pulled in multiple directions—winning crucial games, investigating the mysterious murders, and even navigating a romance. With players being eliminated in deadly fashion and the pennant hanging in the balance, can they outsmart their enemies and clinch the win, or will the killer’s next move be a game-ender?
