“It Happened in Flatbush” features Frank “Butterfingers” Maguire, a former ballplayer who once cost the Brooklyn Dodgers a pennant due to a critical error. Years later, he’s given a shot at redemption when he’s brought back to coach the team, navigating both old resentments and the challenges of leadership.

However, as Maguire pushes to restore the Dodgers to their former glory, he finds himself distracted by love when he falls for the team’s new owner. Torn between his duties and his heart, he must rally his team, reminding them of their commitments, and lead them toward winning the league pennant.
