“Milltown Pride” chronicles Will Wright’s baseball dreams in 1920s South Carolina. Determined, he joins the local textile mill team, the only route to pro baseball. Defying his father, he immerses himself in mill life, enduring challenges and his father’s disapproval. Yet, among the mill-workers, he discovers common dreams.
